The picture should depict the parts, not the actual lifter. 63014-01 is not the handlifter - it's only a couple of extra parts. The picture shown here is the handlifter assembly. Part No.
Sometimes, it over-shoots when hanging up the phone, and I have to adjust the lifter again(even though it was working fine for days before that)Overally, pretty decent - surprised at how well it works in such a techno-driven society - that such a simple concept actually does the job.I like it and would recommend it to others. I've had this for over a year now, and it was relatively easy to install. I don't like the idea that I had to stick it to my current phone, so if I want to change phones, I'll have to find a way to un-stick the very well stuck-on lifter. However, its amazing to hear it working from my basement to the 2nd floor of my house.
Once we took off the shoulder rest, it worked great. The handset lifter was easy to install and worked as expected. The only caution is to make sure your handset is not heavy ( maybe a shoulder rest is attached to your handset, like we had), the lifter couldn't lift the handset with the attached shoulder rest.
The adhesive pads are very sticky, and once it's on, it's not designed to be removed without some force. It lifts the handset. The only issue is that you have to be pretty certain about it's placement before you use the adhesive.
It's great and Amazon had the best price. Working in a high volume salon, we are constantly answering multiple lines through out the day and the lifter has made answering the different lines so much easier for us. We started off with the plantronics headsets and then ordered the lifters, all in all thinking they just hold the handset up, but it actually lifts up the phone with a touch of the button on the headset.
